The 2020 Partners in Health virtual event directly benefits our Providence Milwaukie Community Teaching Kitchen.

Our teaching kitchen works to create a healthier community through one-on-one outpatient nutrition counseling, regular screening for food insecurity, and access to a navigator for individualized resources.

Our family market provides a wide variety of dry, fresh and frozen foods to help families who are facing hunger.

Hands-on cooking classes are provided by our chef leader and nutrition lessons by our registered dietitian. Patients and community members learn essential preparation and cooking skills as well as evidenced-based nutrition information. By providing food and the skills to use it, we are able to meet the needs of our patients and community in a more effective way.
