An echocardiogram is the leading diagnostic tool for those experiencing heart-related symptoms. An echocardiogram or ECHO is an ultrasound of the heart measuring pressures, wall thickness, blood flow, and valves. A cardiologist uses the pictures from the test to diagnose heart disease and other heart conditions. 

At Providence Milwaukie Hospital, there is currently a 9 week wait for patients needing an ECHO. 

This year’s Partners in Health event, benefiting Providence Milwaukie Foundation, will raise funds to purchase two new echocardiogram machines for Providence Milwaukie Hospital. The purchase of two new ECHO machines will allow Providence Milwaukie Hospital to provide expedient care to patients experiencing heart-related symptoms - cutting current wait times in half.

Partners in Health is an intimate, invitation-only event hosted at Waverly Country Club featuring a silent auction and one-of-a-kind live musical performances. Past performers include Aaron Meyers, Michael Allen Harrison, and the Brown Sisters.
